On the last Sunday in September, Monument Day celebrates craftsmanship and restoration as the basis of monument preservation under the motto "HAND//WERK gedacht+gemacht". On this special day, owners open the doors to places that are otherwise inaccessible or only accessible to a limited extent. The importance of monument protection and preservation can be experienced and perceived at first hand through special guided tours and exciting program items.

Vienna is represented with over 40 locations.
