Faces of the woman Europa

For more than 30 years, the painter ANTOINETTE from Leipzig has artistically explored the search for the identity of the continent of Europe. In their story portraits, with the always new puppet theater and the mystical symbols, each person can find their own associations to the common in Europe and thus to the European coexistence. As part of this work, ANTOINETTE is searching for the face of the woman EUROPA, who gave her name to our continent. In addition to more than 50 large-format works from the cycle "Mythos Europa", which were already shown in Berlin, Prague and Görlitz and inspired tens of thousands of visitors, 36 life-size portraits of important European women are exhibited in Vienna for the first time. Magic moments are guaranteed. You can also watch ANTOINETTE at work in the exhibition. She draws a 20-meter-long frieze on paper with a pencil.
