Roman Pfeffer: "Dinge durch denken"

ROMAN PFEFFER (*1972 Vöcklabruck, Austria) From 1996 to 2001 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and on the Kenst Institute of Art and Design in Canterbury, England. He is a member of the directorial team of the TransArts programme at the University of applied Arts Vienna.
He lives and works in Vienna.

With Dinge Durch Denken – Thinking Things Through, Galerie Raum mit Licht presents artist Roman Pfeffer for the first time in a solo exhibition. Roman Pfeffers work corresponds to a conceptual, linguistic and process-oriented method through the use of different media. The artist appropriates the world of everyday life and art, operates like a natural scientist, constructs new things, but does not correspond to rational laws. The artist expands that objectivity through the paradox with an ironic undertone. His works have been exhibited in different places including the Galerie im Taxispalais, Innsbruck, Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice, Kunsthalle Wien, Galerie Clairefontaine, Luxembourg, LA IRA DE DIOS, Buenos Aires, The Art Foundation, Athens, Austrian Cultural Forum London or recently in the MQ ART BOX at Museumsquartier.
