16th Art Austria MuseumsQuartier Vienna 2023

Great art, presented at a great location: Vienna's Museumsquartier will once again be the venue for the art fair Art Austria. The successful art show will take place for the 16th time from May 11 to 14 - and it is expanding its focus. Art Austria is becoming more international.

Whereas the focus has always been on classical modern art, art after 1945 and contemporary Austrian art, now the European art scene is also increasingly coming into view. 44 renowned exhibitors from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the Netherlands will present highlights of their repertoire.

Among the exhibiting artists from Austria are big names such as Günter Brus and Gunter Damisch, Christian Eisenberger, Valie Export, Franz Graf, Martha Jungwirth, Peter Kogler, Elke Krystufek, Hans Kupelwieser, Hermann Nitsch, Rudolf Polanszky, Arnulf Rainer, Hubert Scheibl, Eva Schlegel, Hubert Schmalix, Rudolf Schwarzkogler, Franz West, Erwin Wurm, Otto Zitko and Heimo Zobernik. The international scene is represented by top artists such as Banksy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.
