The Language of Things. Material Histories from the Collection
An art collection not only reflects the winds of change in acquisition policies but its presentation also demonstrates the mission guiding an institution. In 2016 the regular temporary exhibitions showcasing the permanent collection of contemporary art will be continued in The Language of Things. This will feature focused insights into current artistic production in Austria and establish connections with international works. Starting out with the most recent acquisitions for the collection, the show will present the opportunity to both discover and rediscover artists who demonstrate their relevance to the here and now.
