Julius Victor Berger und die Mäzene des Hauses Habsburg

On October 17, 1891 Emperor Franz Joseph formally openend the Kunsthistorisches Museum. In 2016 we will celebrate the building’s 125th anniversary with a year-long programme of events and activities under the motto “A Museum for Everyone”. Throughout 2016 everyone can visit the museum for free on his or her birthday!
