In the best tradition and yet in keeping with the times, the Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln play original Schrammel music, Viennese songs and original compositions. They are concerned with the cultivation of a living culture and not with its musealization. A good opportunity to experience this mix of old and new is offered on the first Monday of every month at the "Schrammel Monday" in the Liebhartstaler Bockkeller. This is actually a pretty villa from 1907, located in the quaint Heurigen area of the 16th district.

The program on Schrammel Monday is not performed by the Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln alone: after the break, other musicians are also cordially invited to join in.

Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln:
Peter Uhler, violin
Johannes Fleischmann, violin
Niki Tunkowitsch, violin
Helmut Stippich, chromatic button harmonica
Walther Soyka, chromatic button harmonica
Peter Havlicek, contrabass guitar
