Don Giovanni kills the Commandant - an offended father, hits on Zerlina - somebody elses bride, abandons his fiancée Donna Elvira and chases after her maid, decieves and cheats, and still manages to ward off his enemies. He nevertheless gets his just deserts: When he foolhardedly invites the Commandant from his tomb for dinner, his statue really and truely appears, to claim remorse. Don Giovanni refuses - and goes to hell.
