Aleksey Igudesman and Hyung-ki Joo, childhood friends and musical virtuosos, have been devoting themselves to humor in music with great esprit since their first joint program, “A Little Nightmare Music” (2004). With it, they help classical works gain new recognition and build bridges to pop music. In association with The Limitless Orchestra, whose name already suggests a certain lack of boundaries, this time the focus is on the music of Antonín Dvořák, specifically his famous Ninth Symphony, whose African-American and indigenous influences are traced with humorous enthusiasm. Last but not least, a keen comedic view of the world and events was and is a wonderful tool for enlightenment!
