With isaFestival 2025, Vienna transforms into a stage for emerging international talent: From 23 July to 2 August 2025, the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, one of the world’s leading music universities, will present the diverse concert program of its isa – International Summer Academy of the mdw directly at the mdw campus and at numerous special venues throughout Vienna for the first time.

Under the motto "Music City Lab", the isaFestival will showcase just how experimental and dynamic classical music can be. In more than 30 public events, international young talents will perform together with renowned artists in a wide range of formats – from solo and chamber music to art song and arias, lecture recitals, interdisciplinary performances, open stages, jam sessions, and a full orchestral concert.

Most events are free of charge! New formats such as CampusKlang – a station concert on the mdw campus – as well as concerts in the music education series isaCommunity, and the open-air concerts during the Vienna Summer of Culture and in the MuseumsQuartier, make excellent classical music accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
