Turn is an evening of conversation, music and dance. Rules, ranks and conventions are always in flux. What begins as a thé dansant in Strauss’ birth year 1825, becomes a waltz through 200 years of capitalism. Always rotating, always revolving, the waltz symbolizes the search for an alternative society. Gob Squad subvert the dress code, and open the doors of the theatre to the world outside. Places change, new constellations emerge. Turn posits a community of equals as harmonious as the waltz itself. Let the tables turn!
