The Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival (SCL Festival) is Europe's largest festival for young orchestras, choirs and bands from all over the world. The renowned annual festival gives up-and-coming talents a stage to share their passion for music and showcase their skills to each other and the Viennese public.
The festival offers visitors a wide range of classical music and choral works, but world music and modern music are also performed on the various Viennese stages. The SCL Festival is a place and a moment where music creates connections across cultural and geographical boundaries and fosters a sense of community and understanding.
The program includes concerts at Casino Zögernitz, a concert in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, a concert series at MuTh, the concert hall of the Vienna Boys' Choir, a concert at Rathauspark, concerts at the RadioKulturhaus and the crowning final concert at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
