From 24 to 26 June, 2025, Vienna’s Karlsplatz will be transformed into an interactive stage for science, art and culture. The Space in the City festival brings the fascinating world of Earth observation right into the heart of the city.

A view from above broadens our perspective: satellite data are being used to help us make our cities more sustainable, safer and more livable. For three days, Space in the City will showcase and celebrate this potential at Vienna’s Karlsplatz.

At the festival, space can be experienced by everyone – whether you are taking a virtual reality rocket flight, exploring sound experiments, enjoying workshops, live performances, or engaging in inspiring talks with pioneers of space data and exploration.
