The "Sounds & Science" series shows how music opens the mind and promotes understanding of scientific concepts. Typical is the combination of chamber music, biographical background of the composer, a generally understandable specialist lecture and a musical highlight. The high quality of the musicians and speakers is central. In past concerts and lectures, topics such as "Music and Cancer" or "Music and the Heart" have combined music with aspects of medicine. Many participants experience a familiar connection between sound and science. The social aspect is just as important - the events invite people to share, participate and meet each other.
"Sounds & Science" creates an inspiring bridge between music, medicine/science and humanity at a high artistic and scientific level - intellectually enriching and bringing people together.
