Rise Against
Over the past decade and a half, Rise Against have become one of the biggest, most successful and most sophisticated punk bands in the world. This is partly due to their powerful sound and partly due to their thoughtful lyrics. The group is known for its political commitment; many of its songs deal with ideological issues. Animal rights are particularly important to the band.
