20 years of Monti Beton & Johann K.

A special anniversary is coming up: the legendary Viennese band Monti Beton and Austrian soccer icon Hans Krankl, also known as Johann K., are celebrating their 20th anniversary on stage in 2025 - a success story that combines the worlds of music and sport in an inimitable way. The anniversary will culminate in a spectacular concert on July 5, 2025 at the Vienna State Opera, which is normally played by the biggest “cover band” in classical music, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. But things will be different in July 2025: Monti Beton, probably the busiest Austro cover band, will take over the stage of this venerable venue.
