Choreography: Robert Binet

Premiere: October 10, 2025

What might dance music sound like in the year 2225? Four international composers draw inspiration from Johann Strauss and create new soundscapes combining electronic sounds and acoustic variations.

Canadian choreographer Robert Binet is working with dancers from the Vienna State Opera/Vienna State Ballet (junior company) to develop a one-hour performance full of energy and poetry. Accompanying texts by artists and thinkers from around the world sketch scenarios of a possible future—from alternative perceptions and new forms of language to time travel and the voices of a young generation.

The result is an extraordinary dialogue of dance, music, and vision—deeply rooted in Viennese tradition and yet entirely contemporary.

A production for everyone aged 10 and up.
