Ian Fisher & Band
Ian Fisher left his home state of Missouri at the age of twenty-one to roam the streets of Vienna for fifteen years. His music, described by Rolling Stone as "half Americana and half Abbey Road-worthy pop", blends his rural Midwestern upbringing with a sensibility shaped by his years in the Viennese indie scene. Simple but emotionally complex, he has the acoustic bite of an early Jeff Tweedy with a sentimental pen ready to strike a'la Georg Danzer.
