Rodrigo Amarante
Rodrigo Amarante is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, composer and arranger. The list of acts Rodrigo Amarante has worked with is as long as it is diverse: Gilberto Gil, Marisa Monte, Devendra Banhart, Kevin Morby and Adam Green are just some of the well-known artists who have made use of Amarante's flair for sounds and arrangements. The musician became known as a member of the rock/samba combo Los Hermanos. In Amarante's elaborately arranged solo work, rock and electronica play just as much of a role as Brazilian folk and pop music.
