Mudhoney + Søwt
The indestructibility of nasty and raw rock'n'roll riffing has been underscored by Mudhoney - the figureheads of Seattle's Sub Pop label - since the late '80s, infusing their rustic version of rock with quirky humor as always and acting as a high-end tonic against the ridiculous and the bland like Iggy & the Stooges once did. Proto-punk rock, proto-grunge and 90s indie rock with references to 60s garage rock, 70s rock, 80s guitar rock and sometimes space rock. Legendary and timelessly good.
