Arnold Schönberg: I. Streichquartett d-Moll op. 7
Anton Bruckner: Streichquartett c-Moll WAB 111
Tanja Elisa Glinsner: Verschlungenes Gefüge (UA)

On this concert, Schönberg’s expansive String Quartet in D minor will be performed alongside a student work by Anton Bruckner, who was born two hundred years ago in Ansfelden. Bruckner’s longtime occupation as cathedral organist in Linz connects him to the composer Tanja Elisa Glinsner, who was born in the Upper Austrian capital and whose new quartet engages with Schönberg’s song cycle "Das Buch der hängenden Gärten".
