After building work lasting two and a half years, the curtain rises once again in the Theater an der Wien in October 2024. The Theater invites its audience to discover the newly designed spaces in front of and behind the stage with a big welcome.
During the "Open Doors Day", the Theater an der Wien will be transformed into an experience space with a diverse program for young & all. The new possibilities of the stage will be presented in a technical show, visitors can discover the otherwise hidden spaces behind, next to and under the stage and the theater's make-up artists will transform the young audience for a day. Visitors also have the opportunity to sing along in a big concert at the MusikTheater an der Wien.
