The climate crisis, along with other related environmental issues, demands attention and affects us all. In response to this significant challenge of our era, the Technisches Museum Wien, with its focus on innovation and sustainability, is dedicating a permanent exhibition to climate starting March 2024.

The exhibition presents the causes and connections of the crisis. Building on this, it showcases key technical and social levers and innovations in areas such as agriculture, energy supply, mobility, urban planning, and land use.

From satellite-based surveys of the surroundings of Vienna to climate messages from the Colombian Rio Atrato, from innovative mobility concepts to climate psychology and questions of climate justice: To match the complexity of the topic, the exhibition embraces a shift in perspectives, oscillating between individual and structural, local and global.
Object installations, expert assessments, in-depth offerings, and large-scale media-interactive elements engage various senses and visitors.
