A space cowboy is a guest in the "Athmosphères" series with Pieter de Graaf: the Dutch pianist and composer sets off for a landing with his latest album "Retrograde" in the Berio Hall. In a world that is becoming ever denser, louder and shriller, de Graaf has turned his focus to the essential. In search of the sounds that followed his musings on the universe associatively, he experimented with all kinds of instruments - flutes and synthesizers, for example - and objects such as pieces of wood. This resulted in pieces like his atmospheric "Asteroid Fuga."
