Susanna Mälkki's passion for new music makes her one of the most remarkable conductors of our time. Born in Finland, she led the Ensemble intercontemporain from 2006 to 2013 and conducted numerous world premieres in this capacity. Since 2016, Mälkki has been principal conductor of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra.
