Rock and jazz from the Alps: the hits of Hubert von Goisern, who has been in the business for over thirty years, have cult status. He is considered the grand master, if not the inventor, of alpine rock and named himself after the place of his origin near Lake Hallstatt. "Music is a language in which you can't lie," von Goisern says. His songs are thoroughly believable and therefore particularly touching. For his performance at the Vienna Konzerthaus, he teams up with the Lungau Big Band, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
