Asaf Avidan

In mid-November, Israeli-born Asaf Avidan will be making a stop in Vienna with his latest solo project "Ichnology". According to his own statement, the folk rocker, who is known for his high-pitched singing voice and is therefore often compared to Robert Plant, picked up the guitar for the first time at the age of 26. The reason? He wanted to process his love pain musically. At the beginning of his career, he played with guitarist Roi Peled, cellist Hadas Kleinman, bassist Ran Nir and drummer Yoni Sheleg under the band name Asaf Avidan & The Mojos.
