The art of Chasanut, Jewish cantorial singing, is the focus of this unique concert under the motto "Meafela Leora - from darkness to light" in commemoration of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp 78 years ago. The choir of the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem, the only institutionally anchored synagogue choir in Israel, will perform together with Shmuel Barzilai, the internationally sought-after singer and chief cantor of the Jewish Community of Vienna.
