For the two internationally active opera singers Claudia Goebl and Christina Sidak, being a singer and a mother at the same time, having a job and a family, is often as naturally beautiful as it is darn complicated. Reconciliation, after all. The fact that no opera has yet been dedicated to the topic of "working and having children" bothered the two singers. That's why they wrote one themselves without further ado. A mini-opera, a mix of staged song recital and classical cabaret, of satirical revue and tragicomedy - the format they created is the ideal framework for fusing arias, art songs and chansons with a red-hot theme. Great works come very close and become the soundtrack of work-family madness.
