Que(e)r through the Austrian Literature Museum

Queerness in Austrian literature? Yes, it exists! Literary or biographical relationships in the context of LGBTIQ can be found, for example, in Ingeborg Bachmann, Heimito von Doderer, Elfriede Jelinek or Joseph Roth.

On a guided tour que(e)r through the Literature Museum of the Austrian National Library, many exciting new discoveries await as well as encounters with familiar texts and authors, as diverse and colorful as life itself. Poetic and theoretical guiding stars will be presented, as well as hitherto little-known literary protagonists and authors in the context of LGBTIQ.
