A Few Degrees More°
A Few Degrees More - Few degrees, dramatic effect: The Leopold Museum hangs selected paintings by Klimt, Schiele and Co. at an angle to draw attention to climate change.
The world-famous landscape paintings were deliberately placed at an angle to draw attention to the dramatic effects of global warming in the wake of climate change. After all, a permanent increase in temperature by just a few degrees can drastically worsen our quality of life. With the warning campaign motto A Few Degrees More (Will Turn the World into an Uncomfortable Place), the Leopold Museum, in cooperation with the climate research network CCCA (Climate Change Centre Austria) - one of the leading authorities in the field of climate research in Austria - illustrates the sometimes catastrophic effects of just a few more degrees of temperature on the environment.
The intervention A Few Degrees More can be seen until June 26, 2023 as part of the permanent presentation Vienna 1900: Birth of Modernism
