On March 23, the exhibition "Die endlose Zeichnung (The Endless Drawing)", featuring 18 works by Austrian artist Florian Unterberger, will open on the premises of the Friedrich Kiesler Foundation.
The focus is on Die endlose Zeichnung (The Endless Drawing), a series of drawings Unterberger has been working on for several years and which are shown in the show as installations.  
Based on the vision of the Total Library by the writer Jorge Luis Borges, Florian Unterberger has been dealing with the principle of infinity since 2011. In the work complex of the same name, the artist developed a code to represent words spatially. In doing so, he assigned a geometric shape to each letter of the alphabet, which, in combination with color, lays the foundation for his Total Alphabet. Unterberger precisely draws secret language bodies, which are modeled layer by layer into words. Formations emerge that seem to rise three-dimensionally from the paper and expand into uncertain landscapes. Unterberger continuously continues his drawing writing in the endless drawing, a work without a foreseeable end.
