Thomas Ebenstein, an ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera since 2012, makes his debut at the Arnold Schönberg Center together with the young singer Lisa-Marie Lebitschnig. On their joint evening, they will present songs written in Vienna around 1900 by Schönberg and his friend Alexander Zemlinsky. Still little known is the work of Schönberg's Berlin student Norbert von Hannenheim, whose music ranges from late Romanticism to his teacher's twelve-tone method.
