A musical summit meeting of two formations that stand for brass band music as artistically high concert music like few others. Canadian Brass was founded in Toronto in 1970 and since then has played an incredible 5,000 concerts in various formations; their discography contains around 60 albums. Originating from the environment of the symphony orchestra of their hometown, the quintet Canadian Brass impresses with the extraordinary skill of its instrumentalists and the subtle artistry of the arrangements of the selected material.
