125 years Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel - Jubilee theater

Under the title "125 years of the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel - 125 years of history that can be experienced", the Giant Ferris Wheel celebrates its 125th birthday with the theater ensemble Nesterval, which has already been awarded the Nestroy, one of Austria's most important theater prizes. This unique theater experience under the sign of the Giant Ferris Wheel history begins for the visitors:inside with the ticket purchase and lasts until after the ride with the Prater attraction. The Giant Ferris Wheel forecourt is also the setting for this production, as is the Panorama Museum and, of course, the Giant Ferris Wheel itself.

Fiction and reality are mixed in the figures and the visitors are invited to playfully enter the world of the Ferris wheel and thus the world of Austrian history. The first kiss can be as much a topic as the marriage proposal, and the emperor himself will be just as present as the newspaper boy or the famous writer. Visitors will also meet historical figures such as Sigmund Freud, Romy Schneider and Falco. The extent of interaction with the performers will be determined by the visitors.

No one has to, but everyone can participate in the experience. All performers also speak English. Opportunities are available on opening day, June 25, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and every day thereafter from 5 to 9 p.m. until July 2. The production is included in the price of the Giant Ferris Wheel ticket.
