Viennale 2024
The Viennale is an annual must-attend event for cineastes and is taking place for the 62nd time this year. Austria's largest film festival will once again show film highlights from all over the world from October 17 to 29.
In various cinemas in Vienna
Advance ticket sales start on October 12. Before that, a “warm-up” will be held on Karlsplatz in cooperation with the “Volxkino”. From September 23 to 28, several films such as “Le Grand Chariot” by Philippe Garrel and “La Bete” by Bertrand Bonello will be screened in the open air with free admission. Both were screened at the Viennale last year, but have not yet been shown regularly in cinemas.
