The festival weekend between June 21 and 23,2024 turns the Danube Island into a party zone for three days. National and international acts ensure a lively atmosphere.

Diversity is showcased on the various stages and what are known as "theme islands". As well as pop music, lovers of electronic music will also be in for a treat. A pre-lunch drink with brass band music is also part of the program. Austrian cabaret plays a major role again this year.

The Danube Island Festival has always been an event for everyone: young and old, Viennese locals and visitors alike, night owls and culture lovers. There will be a grand symbolic opening with an inclusive concert for children and young people with disabilities. Donating the two euro cup deposit will go towards helping children and young people from socio-economically disadvantaged families with tutoring, leisure activities and healthy snacks.
