Wien im Rosenstolz – Landpartie 2025
The signpost for 2025 is set: In mid-May, the Theater am Spittelberg will once again be a distinctive listening venue for new Austrian folk music. “Wien im Rosenstolz - Landpartie” with young, experimental groups from various regions of Austria, who certainly ‘flirt’ musically with tradition, but live thematically in the present and consciously bring dialect music to the fore. They impress with their passion and enthusiasm, and show that folk music - music created by the people, for the people and for the people - really does touch everyone when tradition is taken by its roots and interpreted for the present day.
