The signpost for 2023 is aligned: In mid-May, the Theater am Spittelberg as a distinctive listening place for new Austrian folk music. "Wien im Rosenstolz - Landpartie" with young experimental groups from different regions of Austria, which very well musically "flirt" with tradition, but thematically live in the now and consciously bring dialect music to the fore. They convince with heart blood and play joy, and show that people music - in the people, of the people and for the people developed music - really touches all humans, if one seizes the tradition at its roots and interprets for the present.
