Wolfgang Blankl, bass - Dorothy Khadem-Missagh, paino

In this concert Beethoven shows his gentle and sensitive side. "An die ferne Geliebte" is regarded as the first song cycle and thus sets a milestone in the art of song, which is also an important part of the work of Johannes Brahms. Frank Martin's Jedermann monologues deal with the despair of a young man and are a parallel to Beethoven's thoughts written down in the "Heiligenstadt Testament".
