From September 15, 2023, WestLicht will present the most important showcase of international press photography for the 22nd time.

The 120 award-winning images - selected from more than 60,000 entries by 3,752 photographers from 127 countries - not only reflect the dominant news topics of the past year, but also tell numerous stories that have hardly been reported on in this country: from the war in Ukraine to the consequences of climate change, the resistance of women against the Iranian regime, the situation of the LGBTQI+ community in the Philippines to the dazzling protagonists of the current hip hop scene in New York.
